How do you know whether you’re ready for a new program or initiative or not?

How can you gauge the effectiveness of existing programs?

Properly designed assessments and diagnostics can tell you - and much more besides

Before you step into a new program or initiative you should know whether you’ve laid the proper foundation for success.

And you should know whether your existing programs are living up to your expectations - and if not what’s holding them back.

KNOWING - Our assessments and diagnostics can tell you where you stand relative to:

  • Effectiveness of your existing programs
  • Readiness for new programs or initiatives
  • How well your departments, functions, and teams are performing
  • Whether you have the right performance metrics in place
  • Systemic issues and problems within the organization
  • Relative overall health of the organization

Not only that, they can tell you:

  • What's missing and what you need to get ready for a new program
  • Where and what attention needs to be focused for improved productivity and
        performance
  • When you need to pay attention to outside voices
  • Where and how to see the early warnings of a problem
  • How to head it off before it becomes a big headache

TOOLS - Our toolkit includes:

ü Interviews - In depth, both inside and outside your organization when necessary

ü Surveys - On line and in person, quantifiable and subjective

ü Workshops - Focus and knowledge groups

We use assessments and diagnostics in two basic ways:

PART OF THE WHOLE - Every engagement with you begins with an assessment of the current situation followed by a definition of needs and desired outcomes.  Only then do we develop with you a conceptual framework and agreement on how to proceed.

The assessment will always include interviews.  And depending on the complexity of the issue, problems to be solved and outcomes the assessment may include a survey or focus group workshop.

In some cases we'll recommend a deeper diagnostic - especially when dealing with systemic issues and problems.

STANDALONE – For the times you need to know where you stand on a particular issue or get to the root of a specific problem, we can perform a targeted and tightly focused assessment or diagnostic.

You must have an ear tuned to listen outside your organization - and not just in ways you've done before.

OUTSIDE VOICES - We can focus both internally and externally making sure that the outside voices so important to your organization are heard: Suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.

And, we can add even more diverse voices to the mix, ensuring the diversity of:

  • Thought
  • Experience
  • Ideas
  • Expertise

You need to make sense of your environment in today's complex and fast changing world.

BENCHMARKS - Knowing where you stand not only among your peers, but also against other types of organizations is important for fine tuning your organization.

But perhaps more importantly this understanding can help you to set a new higher bar - and continually raise it - moving well beyond the industry standard or "best practices".

Many organizations perform their own surveys and interviews - and then wonder about the validity of the information collected and the knowledge gained.

OBJECTIVE THIRD PARTY – Our belief is that a neutral third party working with strict confidentiality is best positioned to develop an accurate and objective assessment - both inside and outside the organization.

DIVERSITY OF LEARNING - By using a third party you:

  • Gain the depth and breadth of learning and insights
  • Developed over time
  • Adding value to the analysis
  • Applied to your specific needs

MORE THAN ANALYSIS - In all of our assessment and diagnostic work we don’t just give you the analytical results.

We know you need to see the way forward and we’ll always provide our recommendations for next steps and action planning.
